Our Scout Group has been founded by Dr. Juan Llop Sureda, a Spanish citizen, during his 3-years-long stay in our city. He realized  that there were not an entity that offered an integral formation for children and youngsters who later can contribute to the development of our province. And since he had been a Scout leader in his country, he thought of a Scout Group.  

For this effort, he had the support of our Bishop, Sebastián Ramis Torrens (Franciscan Order).  

The Group was founded on May 6th, 2000, with Juan as the Group Leader. The organization process was not easy, there were many difficulties, but it began to work.   

Regrettably, our founder had to return to his country at the end of 2002. However, we have committed ourselves to consolidating the Group. So, we are making our best effort to achieve it.
